Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center hosts inaugural Black Tie & Boots Gala

Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center’s inaugural Black Tie & Boots Gala, presented by the Donegan Burns Foundation, took place at Morgan Run Club & Resort and focused on the mental health needs of active duty service members, veterans, first responders, and frontline medical workers battling service-related PTSD. Cornerstone, a premier equine-assisted therapy program in San Diego, has pioneered recovery programs for the heroes who sacrifice to make our country and our communities safer. The nonprofit’s work with the Suicide Prevention Committee and The Resiliency Support Command at Naval Medical Center San Diego during the pandemic has helped not only their patients, but their doctors, nurses, and frontline medical teams as well. Funds from the gala will directly aid in expansion of programs and services which are provided 100 percent free of charge.
