Serving Seniors to host a virtual happy hour to raise funds for low-income and homeless seniors

Serving Seniors is hosting a virtual happy hour fundraising event from 5-6:30pm to help support low-income and homeless seniors in our community. The free event will feature live entertainment, prize drawings, a live auction, and a fund-a-need campaign to help seniors directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees will also hear firsthand from senior clients and key leadership members of the Serving Seniors team. While food insecurity, affordable housing, and senior isolation have been issues affecting the community for years, the global pandemic has heightened these issues more than ever before. Serving Seniors has grown from distributing approximately 70,000 meals per month in March to more than 100,000+ in June, demonstrating the immense need for food assistance in the community. servingseniors.org/sipsforseniors
