San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival presents a virtual rosé experience, co-hosted by Julep venue and Snake Oil Cocktail Co. The online event features a variety of rosé selections, allowing participants to taste rosé from around the world and deepen their understanding of the popular pink wine. Additionally, the virtual experience features educational sessions including a mixology class with Snake Oil Cocktail Co. and a sommelier-led rosé tasting and discussion led by advanced sommelier Brian Donegan.
The virtual rosé experience is offered to local San Diegans as well as people across California and other select states. Participants choose either a delivery rosé package or a special local package that can be picked up from Julep venue.
Rosé packages include:
- Local ($120): Six full bottles of “Sommelier’s Choice Rosé,” digital assets to be downloaded and printed at home (including a rosé tasting mat, tasting notes, and a digital invite for friends), access to a sommelier-led tasting video and live Q&A, a rosé cocktail to-go created by Snake Oil Cocktail Co. (15 oz.), a virtual mixology demonstration hosted by Snake Oil Cocktail Co., and a reusable tote bag.
- Delivery ($130): Six full bottles of “Sommelier’s Choice Rosé,” digital assets to be downloaded and printed at home (including a rosé tasting mat, tasting notes, and a digital invite for friends), and access to a sommelier-led tasting video and live Q&A, and a virtual mixology demonstration hosted by Snake Oil Cocktail Co.
Attendees purchasing the local package can pick up their rosé kit from Julep venue Wednesday, July 22 through Friday, July 24, from 12-6pm. Shipping for the delivery package will be available in CA, OR, ID, WA, UT, AZ, NV, and NM. While this experience can be enjoyed at any time on July 25, attendees are invited to tune in virtually at 4pm PST for a live Q&A with sommelier Brian Donegan. sandiegowineclassic.com/event/virtual-rose-celebration
