We couldn't find that.
Let's go back home and try again.

The Producer

Rancho Santa Fe resident and Emmy Award-winning executive producer Wendy Walker spent the last 30 years creating history-making moments in TV, as both a ten-year CNN White House producer and a 17-year producing veteran for Larry King Live. Walker has always had an innate ability to spot the sparks that will turn into fascinating news stories. She also possesses a great instinct for knowing when to hold back to allow a story to unfold naturally, and, in turn, when to let it fly.

Speaking of which, Walker is about to reveal her own story in her first book, Producer: Lessons Shared from 30 Years in Television (Center Street/Hachette Book Group, November 16, 2010). In it, she looks back upon her impressive career and takes readers behind the scenes at Larry King Live, as well as along the path she forged to become a power player at today’s giant news networks.

While Walker shares incredible stories of presidents and kings, celebrities and athletes, she also highlights the life lessons she’s learned, which include: don’t freak out, forget credit, think bigger than big, find gratitude, don’t hang on to disappointment, and believe in the extraordinary. Stay tuned for details about an upcoming celebratory book release event.    JANE SHIOMI
