Same Great Garden, New Name

Published

Quail Botanical Gardens has announced it will officially change its name to San Diego Botanic Garden with the celebration of its 10th anniversary. The organization’s decision to change its name comes after much thought, years of rich botanical development, and the recent opening of the new Hamilton Children’s Garden. “We believe the garden has proven its worth as a leading San Diego regional attraction. We believe the name San Diego Botanic Garden will better reflect our mission, which is to inspire people of all ages to connect with plants and nature,” says Julian Duval, the garden’s president and CEO. The San Diego Botanic Garden will continue to offer guests an urban retreat unlike any other and a place to connect with nature in a world-class botanic garden. (760/436-3036, www.qbgardens.org)
