Back To School Anew

It’s time to hit the books once again, and students in kindergarten through eighth grade in the Rancho Santa Fe School District will return to a new school at the site of the former R. Roger Rowe campus. Redesigned to accommodate up to 850 students, the school is styled after the Spanish colonial architecture that characterizes the Ranch. In a recent message, Pamela Dirkes and Bill Gaylord, co-chairs of the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation, noted, “The Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation is striving for 100 percent participation from our parent community. Having a great school in this village of ours adds value to all in Rancho Santa Fe.”    JANE SHIOMI
