The annual Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Dinner and Regatta celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. The event kicked off Friday evening with a pre-race dinner and silent auction, followed by all-day festivities on Saturday, when guests boarded yachts and cruised along the racecourse for a breathtaking view of the regatta and San Diego Bay. Sharp HospiceCare’s Homes for Hospice campaign raises money to build and maintain residential hospice homes in San Diego County. The homes offer a unique environment for patients with a life-limiting illness, meeting their needs in a comfortable home setting. Leading the effort as event co-chairs were Kathy Bongiovanni of Seal Electric and Sherri Summers of EC Constructors.
