The Institute of Contemporary Art, San Diego’s ICA Greener Gala 2022 featured themes of sustainability to tie in with the current ecology-focused season “In this Broad Earth of Ours.” Guests celebrated within the illuminated six-acre property (powered by its own solar panel system) while enjoying food, music, and dancing. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with specialty drinks and music by Rumba Ketumba followed by a plant-based four-course dinner using produce from local farmers prepared by Chef Flor Franco, Culinary Director of Berry Good Food Foundation. The evening also included an auction featuring incredible destinations and dancing under the stars. Proceeds directly supported ICA’s residency program, regional artists, arts education programs, arts outreach to Title I schools, and Everyday Equity Admission program.
