Patrons of the Prado celebrate the launch of their 25th anniversary

Patrons of the Prado hosted a special celebration at San Diego History Center to mark the launch of the organization’s  25^thanniversary. Since 1997, Patrons of the Prado has contributed close to $5 million to its bene­ciaries — ten arts and science institutions on the Prado in Balboa Park — and served more than 169,000 San Diego school students. Up next, on July 9, the organization presents Masterpiece 2022: Under the Desert Sun, which this year celebrates the glamour of vintage Palm Springs.  Held in the iconic Spreckels Organ Pavilion, the entirely outdoor event will feature a swanky cocktail reception, silent and live auction, gourmet dinner from Behind the Scenes, and dancing to the live music of NRG — all while raising funds vital to supporting the arts.
