Madison Gallery welcomed artist Aldo Chaparro to San Diego for the opening reception of his solo exhibition: That elusive sentiment, which marks Chaparro’s first project and collaboration with the gallery. Chaparro is a Mexican artist born in 1965 who divides his time between Mexico City, Monterrey, Lima, Madrid, Paris, and Southern California. His work is based on the interactions between materials and disciplines, from curatorship, film, public art, architecture, industrial and editorial design, to music, sculpture, painting, and installation. The exhibition will be on view through April 23.
