Las Patronas welcomes new members

Las Patronas kicked off its 76^th year of giving to San Diego nonprofits by welcoming eight new members to the organization: Mimi Brunson, Kim Chao, Laurel Hanson, Anna Joslin, Charlene Lingham, Jenny McGowan, Dagmar Smek, and Stephanie Stone. Each will serve a six-year active membership in Las Patronas. At the luncheon, it was announced that the 75^th Anniversary Jewel Ball, “Diamonds Are Forever,” held in August 2021, netted $1,049,041.68 to support the nonprofit’s selected beneficiaries. In addition, the chair of the 76^th Annual Jewel Ball, Megan Cox, along with her co-chairs, Mio Hood and Joleen Guckian, revealed the theme of the 2022 Jewel Ball, “The South Seas.”
