A luncheon took place at Piatti Restaurant in La Jolla to offer a preview of the upcoming 75^th anniversary Jewel Ball, “Diamonds are Forever,” set to take place on August 7 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. Following opening remarks by Las Patronas President Martha Sottosanti and Jewel Ball chair Kathy Lobo, this year’s Jewel Ball table decor and overall design was presented by design chairs Lin Foletta and Mio Hood, and tables chair Jessica Castagnola. In addition, Vice President Tina Boynton presented the 2021 major and minor grant beneficiaries.
