Las Patronas hosts its annual Beneficiary Luncheon at The Marine Room

Las Patronas presented eight San Diego nonprofit organizations with checks at its annual Beneficiary Luncheon at The Marine Room. The grants were funded with proceeds from the 77th Annual Jewel Ball, Daisies & Disco, which took place in August 2023. The following major grant beneficiaries each received a check for more than $20,000: Barrio Logan College Institute, Emilio Nares Foundation, Just in Time for Foster Youth, La Jolla Playhouse, Nativity Prep Academy, Rise Up Industries, Serving Seniors, and Urban Corps of San Diego. During the luncheon, Las Patronas also announced that MANA de San Diego and Voices for Children are the recipients of their Legacy Society Grant, which is funded from the investment income of the Las Patronas Endowment Fund. The 78^th Annual Jewel Ball, “Meet Me in Marrakesh,” will take place on August 3 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.
