The CaddyHack Golf Festival returned for its fourth year to benefit Boys To Men Mentoring Network. This year’s tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club featured some of San Diego’s best food and beverage vendors, local entertainment, the Final Championship Shootout, and some fun surprises. Founded in 1996, Boys To Men Mentoring is committed to creating communities of empowerment for teenage boys on their journey to manhood. The organization’s community-based mentoring approach gives boys a variety of positive male role models who show up consistently, tell the truth about their struggles as men, praise them for their gifts, support them when they make mistakes, and encourage them to become the men they want to be.
The golf tournament exceeded its goal of 144 players. To ensure a clean, safe environment, event organizers added increased cleaning protocols, sanitation stations, temperature checks for staff, contactless registration and scorekeeping, and socially distant live entertainment.
