World Wide Water

In conjunction with World Water Week, March 22-28, the Tap Project invites supporters to donate $1 or more for the tap water they would normally get for free at Arterra, Laurel, Bondi, and other participating local restaurants. All funds raised support UNICEF’s efforts to provide clean water and sanitation facilities while promoting safe hygiene practices in more than 90 countries. For every dollar raised, a child will have clean drinking water for 40 days. In addition, this year, UNICEF has expanded the program digitally so that interested donors can also give contributions online and from their mobile phones.
