Isola offers vibrant, stylish apparel in The Ranch
This chic boutique brings global and local luxury brands to the heart of Rancho Santa Fe
Isola is a chic boutique along Paseo Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe, just steps from all that the village has to offer. Owner Meghan Muir, who has a background in fashion having worked at Del Mar boutiques, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom, believed there was “a strong need for fashion in the village” as there had been in the past. “With the newly revitalized Inn, we saw an influx of stylish locals and travelers having drinks at Bing’s Bar as well as brunch and dinner at Lillian’s,” she observes. “The village was definitely changing.” So, in May, she opened Isola, which means “island” in Italian. “We wanted a name that gave us a colorful vacation vibe to match the boutique’s clothing and décor,” she explains. Isola carries brands that include Alexis, Alex Perry, Andres Otalora, Bronx and Banco, Charo Ruiz, Cinq à Sept, Fleur du Mal, Halston, LaMarque, MISA, Monique Lhuillier, Mother, PatBO, Simkhai, and many more. “The local women are truly amazing,” she notes. “They have great style already and they appreciate quality and high fashion. And they love the convenience of shopping here in the village, finding global brands and local brands in a welcoming luxury boutique.” For fall, Muir says they’re “definitely seeing a lot of chocolate brown and lots of leather. Faux furs and wide-leg jeans are strong as well.” 858.310.6535, isolaranchosantafe.com
