Lux After Dark: A New Territory

Lux Art Institute presents the return of its annual fundraising event, taking place in a unique two-night hybrid format. Lux After Dark: A New Territory will help raise funds for its exhibitions of contemporary art, revolutionary educational programming, and public community building.

Night one, taking place from 7-9pm on October 16, features a Drive-Thru Art Experience. From their own vehicles, guests can experience site-specific installations and sound art across Lux’s campus. Tickets start at $25 per vehicle with upgrade opportunities including art activities for kids, a to-go menu provided by Miho Catering Co., and more. A VIP upgrade allows attendees to also enjoy a private, socially-distant event in Lux’s elegant backyard garden space with catered food, specialty cocktails, and live entertainment.

Then, on October 17, the second night of programming commences with a free fundraiser online from 6-8pm. This event features Lux’s traditional gala elements including the presentation of its annual Luxie award and paddle raise, guest performances, and special announcements from Lux’s Executive Director, Andrew Utt.
