One Paseo
Posted on July 13, 2018
As anticipation builds around Carmel Valley’s One Paseo development, announcements about the culinary offerings set to put down roots there already have mouths watering. Arguably the hottest celeb opening foodies are marking their calendars for is Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry’s International Smoke, a travel-inspired grillfest that brings the San Francisco hotspot’s caché to SoCal. Venice Beach-based Tocaya Organica will serve its signature casual Mexican fare with an emphasis on organic, locally-sourced ingredients. Locally-loved Parakeet Café will be branching out from La Jolla to open its second eatery. Sweetfin Poké will also be the second in San Diego (its first debuted at UTC) for the L.A. eatery offering the “Pole to Bowl” freshness that’s created countless fans. Seafood lovers have another option for fresh flavors from the ocean at Ways & Means Oyster House, and Salt & Straw will provide the sweet ending — or just a well-deserved special treat — for those craving the scoop shop’s handmade ice cream in North County (there’s a Little Italy location, too). onepaseo.com Deanna Murphy
