Sea & Smoke Collaboration Dinner


Sea & Smoke chef Matt Gordon will welcome James Beard Award-winning chef and Food & Wine Magazine “Rising Star” chef Nate Appleman to his restaurant for a collaboration dinner on Thursday, October 9, at 6:30pm, to welcome Appleman to San Diego, his new home. The chefs will work with a number of local artisan producers (Sonrise Ranch, Butcher’s Brewing Company, Malahat Spirits, Mikolich Honey, Eben Haezer Egg Ranch) to craft a menu that showcases the bounty San Diego has to offer. A portion of proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Kawasaki Disease Foundation, a cause near and dear to Appleman’s heart as the parent of a child diagnosed with KD. The multi-course dinner will be $65 per guest with local beverage pairings available at an additional cost. (858.925.8212, events@seaandsmoke.com)
