San Diego Polo Club kicks off a new series at its new North County home

In anticipation of the opening of its new North County home this summer, San Diego Polo Club will bring the elegance of this beautiful sport to the Del Mar Fairgrounds for the very first time to celebrate the upcoming season and give fans a taste of what’s to come. On Saturday, February 22, in the first of a three-match series, the San Diego Polo Team will take on Team Mexico at 3pm, followed by all-Cuban band Amistad Cubana on stage as part of the Havana Nights-themed Apres Polo Concert & Salsa Dance Party at 5pm in the paddock. Additional matches will return to Del Mar to be hosted at the race track in April and May. The special polo engagements will benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center and Baja California Children Public Education & Drug Prevention Foundation. sandiegosurfpolo.com
