19th Annual Festival Of Lights
November 25 through January 8, Riverside’s Mission Inn Hotel & Spa presents its annual festival known for bringing holiday cheer and joy to children and adults alike. Gaze at more than 3.6 million brilliant lights, and enjoy live entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides, freshly fallen snow, and special appearances by Santa Claus and his reindeer. Surfin’ Santa At Seaport Village
On Saturday, November 26, Surfin’ Santa will sail into downtown’s Seaport Village on watercraft sporting his favorite board shorts and flip-flops. From 1-5pm, take photos with Santa on his giant surfboard and six-foot wave. Enjoy festive holiday music, live entertainment, and shopping at more than 50 local shops. ’Tis the season to also be green — bring up to three old strands of holiday lights, along with a current SDG&E bill or California ID, to the East Gazebo during the event, and exchange them for an equal number of LED strands, which can save 90 percent in energy costs and last longer than conventional holiday lights. Kringle Mingle
On Sunday, December 4, from 2-6pm, Cardiff 101 Mainstreet presents the 4th annual Kringle Mingle event at Cardiff Town Center. Enjoy a variety of engaging musical performances, a gift fair, tasty treats from local restaurants, a children’s crafting table, and a festive holiday scene complete with a decorated tree and photo ops with Santa. West’s 5th Annual Holiday Celebration & Toys For Tots Drive
On December 8, from 5-8pm, West Inn & Suites, Bistro West, and West Steak and Seafood present their annual holiday celebration featuring a special appearance by Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves. Festive holiday activities will include carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, crafts, and a photo opportunity with Santa. Enjoy seasonal treats and spirits created by chef Eugenio Martignago.
