Encinitas Ballet Presents "The Nutcracker"

Encinitas Ballet’s spectacular production of “The Nutcracker” has become a holiday tradition among families throughout our region. With mice battling soldiers, the Nutracker becoming a prince, and Clara, the main character, receiving the gift of a dream, this beloved holiday favorite is a wonderful way to celebrate the season for the whole family. On Saturday, December 21, at 2pm and 6pm, at Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center, students ages 4 to 16 will perform alongside international professional guest dancers. This year’s guest performers, among others, include Elizaveta Shedrina, Gold Medalist and Grand Prix Winner in France and Dimitrie Antipov, Grand Prix Winner in Moscow and Italy. Directed and choreographed by Olga Tchechakova and Sayat Asatryan, Artistic Directors of the Encinitas Ballet Academy and Arts Center. Appropriate for all ages. Ticket prices range from $15-$25.
