Jake’s Del Mar Fun Run

The 32nd Annual Jake’s Del Mar Beach Fun Run, a relaxed 5k run/walk, takes place on Saturday, November 8, on the beach in front of Jake’s. Participants receive a T-shirt, healthy buffet lunch, beverages, entertainment, and tickets for the opportunity drawing. Each year through the Jake’s Legacy of Aloha program, proceeds from the Fun Run are donated to a local charitable organization. This year’s event will once again benefit the Del Mar lifeguards, now known as Friends of Powerhouse, committed to helping ensure that the next generation respects and cares for our beaches and ocean, as well as one another. Proceeds will also support Solana Beach-based La Colonia, a branch of the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito that serves over 100 elementary school kids and teens each week.
