Día de los Muertos Festival

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with altars, music, art, ballet folklórico, and more. On November 1, attendees can create altars to remember lost loved ones and take part in face painting, sugar skull making, and arts and crafts. A parade led by artist Luis Ituarte takes place at 5pm, and the event also includes vendors, food trucks, and a traditional blessing by Calpulli Omeyocan. On November 2, peruse more than 30 handmade cultural vendors and enjoy a beer garden and musical performances. After sunset, take in a screening of Coco in the park. Finally, on November 3, the finale features performances by Afro-Mexican entertainers Las Cafeteras and local YouTube sensations Dueto Dos Rosas. Admission is free. 800.988.4253, artcenter.org
