Community Resource Center’s annual traditional English Tea returns to raise critical funds to support the nonprofit’s innovative programs that provide a safe place for survivors of domestic violence and their families. This 24th annual event will feature homemade tea sandwiches, scones, Champagne and, of course, tea, plus a silent auction, drawing, and a short program. Event chairs are Patricia Moore and Sue Dowd, and award-winning journalist Deanne Goodman will serve as emcee. This year’s event will honor Carol Cianfarani, who was instrumental in the building of CRC’s domestic violence shelter, Carol’s House. crcncc.org/englishtea
