Lion of Judah Luncheon hosted at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

Nearly 100 philanthropic and community-driven women gathered for Jewish Federation of San Diego’s Lion of Judah Luncheon at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa to celebrate their passion and commitment to the San Diego Jewish community. The Lions of Judah are an internationally recognized giving society dedicated to supporting the Jewish Federations of North America system. In San Diego, there are more than 300 proud Lions of Judah. The event featured a powerful and emotional poetry reading by local artist Jane Yevgenia Muschenetz, a Ukrainian-born, Russian-speaking, Jewish refugee who fled the Soviet regime as a child with the help of funding raised by the Lions of Judah.
