International conservation group Wildcoast hosted the Baja Bash at a private Solana Beach home to raise awareness and funds for its ocean conservation and climate action programs. The event also supported the nonprofit’s programs to preserve wild coastlines and wildlife in Baja. The event featured gourmet food stations with San Diego and Baja chefs: Aidan Owens (Herb & Sea); Davin Waite (Wrench & Rodent, The Plot, Shoots); Drew Deckman (Deckman’s, 31ThirtyOne); Eduardo Salgado (Emat in Valle de Guadalupe); Emiliano Safa (Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa); Kelli Crosson (The Lodge at Torrey Pines); Roberto Alcocer (Valle and Malva); and William Eick (Matsu). The curated epicurean affair also featured fresh Baja oysters, sustainable seafood, farm fresh produce, small batch tequila and mezcal, Valle de Guadalupe and Paso Robles wines, Baja Brewing Company craft beers, Bivouac Ciderworks hard ciders, and live music by Lee Coulter.
