Continuing A Family Legacy

Published

For nearly four decades, Randolph Family Dental Practice has been serving the North County coastal communities. Founded in 1971 by George Randolph, DDS, the practice was built upon a vision of providing honest dentistry in a caring partnership with each patient. “It is this vision that has inspired me to follow in his footsteps,” explains his son, Bob Randolph, DDS, a Torrey Pines High School graduate who went on to Stanford before earning his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific’s dental school with Tau Kappa Omega honors. Having been passed the torch to run the family business, Bob notes, “Our conservative yet fundamentally sound approach to dentistry has allowed us to enjoy the trust and respect of our patients and several generations of families.” In late 2009, the practice moved nearby to a beautiful, custom-designed building on North Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach through the efforts of a local team that included Friehauf Architects, Malone Brothers Construction, and Tim Gunther. Even the surfboard in the waiting room was built by John Cherry and Moonlight Glassing, and the interior design was done by Bob’s wife, Laura. Bob concludes, “We are honored to continue to improve the quality of dentistry for the future.” (858/755-8001, www.drbobdental.com)    MIA STEFANKO
