Walden Family Services celebrates its 50th anniversary

Walden Family Services celebrated its 50th anniversary with the “There’s No Place Like Home” gala at the historic Thursday Club in Point Loma, raising $88,000 to support California foster youth and families. More than 100 guests enjoyed a Wizard of Oz-inspired evening featuring themed entertainment, dining, auctions, and fundraising opportunities. The event also honored LGBTQ+ community leader Susan Jester with the organization’s Kindness in Action Award, recognizing her decades of service and advocacy throughout San Diego.
