The San Diego Padres and the Padres Foundation welcomed nearly 600 guests to dine on the Petco Park playing field for the club’s third annual Dinner on the Diamond presented by Sycuan Casino Resort. The impactful evening featured a gourmet dinner curated by award-winning chef Travis Swikard (Callie) on the playing field alongside Padres ownership, players, coaches, executives and alumni, along with a cocktail hour, live auction, and live music performed by Ludacris. The event program was emceed by Padres broadcasters Don Orsillo and Mark Grant, and included a special Family Feud-inspired game on the stage featuring “Team Machado” versus “Team Musgrove,” each made up of four Padres players. Guests were given the opportunity to participate in a live auction to secure the fifth spot on each of the two teams.

Proceeds from Dinner on the Diamond benefitted the Padres Foundation and the Peter Seidler Legacy Projects supporting underserved youth and those impacted by homelessness. The year’s Dinner on the Diamond raised more than $1 million, the highest amount raised in event history. Additional charitable contributions were made by three players for the charitable partners currently benefiting from the Peter Seidler Legacy Projects, including Manny Machado for the San Diego Rescue Mission, Joe Musgrove for the Armed Services YMCA, and Yu Darvish for the Ronald McDonald House.
