The House of Peru introduced its newly completed cottage recently. The opening was attended by San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria and California State Senator Toni Atkins, who were welcomed by House of Peru President Carlos Mozombite. They and other ardent supporters are very proud of what has been accomplished with the finished House of Peru, which is part of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages in Balboa Park, founded for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition. Under the auspices of the House of Pacific Relations, the House of Peru cottage is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4 pm, with outdoor lawn programs featured on Sundays.

House of Peru, in 2008 my mother who has now passed, purchased two beautiful beaded hats worn by shamans in Cuzco. Please let me know if you would like to exhibit, use, or sell these. I would be glad to donate them. If you agree, my friend Hal Brody would be glad to deliver them or mail them. Just send an address.
