The Country Friends presented its annual Holiday Tea at the Westin Carlsbad Resort and Spa. Board members Maggie Bobileff and Tamara Lafarga Joseph handpicked an amazing array of boutiques perfect for holiday shopping, and the event also included a performance by students of TCF funded agency A Step Beyond, as well as a moving keynote presentation by Beth Thorp, co-founder of the Mitchell Thorp Foundation. Festive centerpieces, crafted by Floral Palette and donated by Linda Sansone and Associates, were available for purchase. Celebrating its 70^th year of service, The Country Friends supports human care agencies with special emphasis on services to women, children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.
