The Country Friends presented its annual Holiday Tea, a luncheon filled with merriment and myriad boutique vendors offering gift items perfect for the holiday season. Participating retailers included Nicole Miller, Satori Designs, Sunwren, Jean Waters Fine Accessories, Christy Jones, Grazia Bella, Sette Divini, Connee J Designs, Green Living Candles, Rising Dale Woodworks, and Trish McEvoy.

This year’s Holiday Tea was co-chaired by Maggie Bobileff and Denise Hug. The Country Friends formed 69 years ago to provide needed funding for San Diego County-based charities. The organization raises funds primarily through the Art of Fashion and its Rancho Santa Fe consignment shop, which specializes in exquisite furniture, antiques, rugs, silver, china, and objets d’art. Since its founding, The Country Friends has raised nearly $15 million to support human care agencies, with special emphasis on services to women, children, the elderly, and those with disabilities.
