The Alzheimer’s community united for SuperAgers: A Be Brain Powerful Event, hosted by the U.S. BrainTrust of UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Women’s Leadership Council. The evening featured a fireside chat with Dr. Eric Topol, renowned cardiologist, founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, and New York Times bestselling author. A second conversation, moderated by award-winning journalist Meryl Comer, brought together Emma Willis and Mary Lou Falcone for a moving discussion of dementia from a caregivers’ perspective. The event was led by host committee chair Muffy Walker alongside a dedicated group of San Diego-based and national community leaders committed to advancing brain health. Honorary co-chairs included world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming, actress and singer Mandy Moore, and acclaimed actor David Hyde Pierce.
