The Alzheimer’s Association Imagination Ball

The Alzheimer’s Association San Diego/Imperial Chapter presented its inaugural Imagination Ball at Alila Marea. The event was emceed by Bridget Naso and featured Karen Howard as the Fund a Mission speaker. Honorees included Best Buy Health, Michael Rafii, MD, PhD, and Karen Wilder, wife of the late actor Gene Wilder, who succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease in 2016. Today, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and it is predicted that the number will skyrocket to 14 million by 2050. The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
