Center for Community Solutions’ Tea & Tonic With a Twist event has raised $300,000 and counting for survivors of relationship violence and sexual assault. This success means that CCS can continue providing survivors with critical services, like counseling and legal assistance, free of charge. After having to cancel last year’s Tea & Tonic due to the pandemic, CCS hosted a hybrid in-person/virtual event on June 18. With harbor views at Coasterra as a backdrop, guests heard remarkable insights from best-selling author Chanel Miller and bid on auction items to help raise funds for CCS programs. All proceeds will help CCS provide nearly 19,000 San Diegans with hope, healing, and prevention this year.
