Sunshine Gala raises awareness and community support for San Diego seniors in need

Supporters dusted off their tie-dye and bell bottoms for Serving Seniors’ Sunshine Gala, which featured a live outdoor concert by The Fab Four, the Emmy award-winning Beatles tribute band. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner under the stars, and a groovy auction full of surprises to benefit life-changing care for seniors in need. Two in five older adults in San Diego County cannot afford basic rent, food, transportation, or healthcare. Through community support including the Sunshine Gala, Serving Seniors can help meet these needs. Longtime Serving Seniors supporters Barbara Brown and Carole Sachs served as honorary chairs.
