St. Germaine Children’s Charity’s annual fundraising event, The Silver Tea, took place at The Lot in La Jolla and featured a “Roaring Twenties” theme. Guests had the option of choosing between two festivities, an afternoon soiree or an evening cocktail party. The soiree delighted attendees with live music provided by the Xceptional Music Company featuring the Janet Hammer Trio. The cocktail party featured a live auction and live music by the Xceptional Music Company featuring the Doug Booth Ensemble. Co-chairs were Janice Farnow and Ashley Nagashima; the event raised more than $106,000.

Since 1984, St. Germaine Children’s Charity has provided financial and in-kind support to San Diego County’s abused and neglected children through grants to the local agencies that serve them. Throughout the year, the organization’s many social events connect members while educating them about the dynamic organizations they work with and create a deeper understanding of the issue. To date, St. Germaine Children’s Charity has contributed more than $4.8 million to the fight against child abuse.
