Shelter To Soldier’s “Be The Light” Gala

Shelter to Soldier presented its seventh annual fundraising gala with Cox Communications returning as presenting sponsor. Guests enjoyed live music by Ryan Hiller, exquisite appetizers and a plated dinner, beer and wine, an exciting silent and live auction emceed by Clint Bell Productions, and memorable moments with service dogs in training and the nonprofit’s graduated veteran/service dog teams. Shelter to Soldier adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from PTS, TBI, and/or other psychological injuries associated with traumatic service experiences. Gala partners included Sycuan Casino, Ranch & Coast Magazine, and Redfearn & Associates.
