Shelter to Soldier presents the ninth annual Be the Light Gala

The evening’s festivities at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe included small bites, beverages, and a silent auction followed by a seated dinner with presentations and a live auction.

For the fourth year in a row, Cox Communications returned as the presenting sponsor of the ninth annual Shelter to Soldier Be the Light Gala. The evening’s festivities at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe included small bites, beverages, and a silent auction followed by a seated dinner with presentations and a live auction. Entertainment featured live music by K. Emeline as well as an auction emceed by auctioneer Clint Bell. More than $176,000 was raised to support the nonprofit’s mission of adopting dogs from local shelters and training them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or other psychological injuries.
