Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank presented its annual gala in a virtual format
The event featured auction items and raised $330,000 for the Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs, helping support its COVID-19 Response Fund.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank transformed its eighth annual Chefs, Cork & Craft Gala into an online “virtual” event. This year’s co-chairs, Ellen Gruer and Cindy Hickman, joined the Food Bank’s CEO, James Floros, in a video message for all virtual gala guests. The event featured fabulous auction items and raised $330,000 for the Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs, which will help support its COVID-19 Response Fund that is distributing food to families and seniors impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
