SDYS Encore! Gala

The San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory’s Encore! Gala raised funds to provide quality music instruction to every young musician regardless of their background. Held at Casa del Prado in Balboa Park, guests enjoyed dinner by Bombay Exotic Cuisine of India and a group performance of Beethoven’s Ode to Joy with conservatory and community musicians, conducted by SDYS student Diego Guerra. Honorary co-chairs were Anni and Arthur Lipper and Albert and Armi Williams; event co-chairs were Katherine Chapin, Perla Brownlie, and Angie Singh.
