San Diego Habitat for Humanity presents its inaugural Taste of Home event

San Diego Habitat for Humanity presented its inaugural Taste of Home event at the organization’s newest ten-home community in Escondido. Attendees enjoyed food and drinks from chefs and restaurants around the county including The Wise Ox, Pure Taco, The Grill at the Lakehouse Hotel and Resort, Burger Bench, San Diego Catering Company, Dulzura Vineyard and Winery, and Valentina Vineyards, among others. Attendees heard from Habitat’s newest homeowners and filled their homes with good wishes by signing the exposed walls and beams on-site. Guests also participated in a silent auction and opportunity drawing and learned about all the ways that San Diego Habitat works within our region.
