Project Concern International hosted its annual Hands Across Borders Gala

Hands Across Borders

Project Concern International honored Julie Tafel Klaus as this year’s recipient of the Anne Otterson Community Connector Award. An avid traveler, Tafel Klaus has crossed the globe to visit PCI’s programs in India, Guatemala, and Zambia, seeking to understand the issues facing women, children, and families and to support the most vulnerable communities around the world. PCI’s 2019 gala highlighted efforts to ensure women and girls worldwide have the chance to lead safe, healthy, and productive lives.
