North Coast Repertory Theatre’s Spotlight Gala

North Coast Repertory Theatre’s Spotlight Gala was co-chaired by Laura Applegate and Sarah King, with actor Richard Dreyfuss and his wife, Svetlana, as this year’s honorary chairs. The volunteer gala committee prepared a festive evening complete with fine food and wine, live and silent auctions, and special entertainment including Broadway show tunes from Gypsy, Cabaret, Sweet Charity, Forum, and a few additional surprises. Julie and Jay Sarno were recognized as San Diego’s “Champions for the Arts,” an award presented to individuals who have given an extraordinary measure of their time, talents, and dedication to benefit visual and performing arts in the San Diego region.
