Nearly 60 women, including quite a few new members of the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund, gathered for the organization’s annual celebration, Blanca and Bubbles. Hosted by Shari Cirkus at her Rancho Santa Fe home, the ladies all wore white and enjoyed Champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres. The party marks a yearly celebration of the work of the group’s membership as well as a long overdue chance to enjoy each other’s company. Chairwomen Susan Hoehn graciously thanked Cirkus and reminded those in attendance of all of the phenomenal work of the charitable enterprises that the RSF Women’s Fund has supported over the years. This year, the RSFWF is on track to grant nearly $350,000 to primarily North County San Diego organizations — a record year!
The Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund was established in November 2004 as a way for members to join together in meaningful and engaging ways, and to give back to the greater San Diego community. As a donor-advised fund of the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation, and with close to 100 members, the group has awarded more than $4.3 million dollars in grants to date.
