Members of the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund gathered in late January at the Rancho Santa Fe home of Kristin Helm for the group’s Annual Champagne Social. The organization, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, is at the mid-point in its grant cycle and has already raised the highest amount of grant funds to date. Members feel confident that they will give away at least $500,000 in grants this year. Formed in 2004, the Rancho Santa Fe Women’s Fund seeks to fund projects in San Diego and North County which meet at least one of the following criteria: responds to an urgent and/or critical need, is a bold new venture, or is a new approach to a time-worn problem.
