Luau and Longboard Invitational

Luau and Longboard Invitational
In support of leading-edge cancer research and care at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, the 20th annual Luau and Longboard Invitational featured longboard legends Robert August, Fernando Aguerre, Jericho Poppler, Rusty Preisendorfer, and Kathy “Gidget” Zuckerman. The luau followed with Polynesian dancing and a tropical buffet. The 2013 Rell Sunn Award honoree was Kary Mullis, who received a Nobel Prize in 1993 for his invention of the polymerase chain reaction.
