Heart of San Diego Gala

The 18th Annual Heart of San Diego Gala took place at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. Under the leadership of co-chairs Catherina Madani and Genevieve Mahmud, guests enjoyed an evening of dinner, dancing, and high-energy entertainment to benefit UC San Diego Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center’s cardiovascular research, clinical care, and training programs. This year’s gala honoree was Ken Buechler, PhD, co-founder of Biosite Inc., a San Diego company that provides diagnostic products and antibody development technologies.
