Gala in the Garden

At San Diego Botanic Garden’s annual gala, guests explored lush gardens that are regionally and internationally recognized for their elegance while relishing exquisite wines, craft beers, signature cocktails, and the best dishes from local eateries. President and CEO Julian Duval was honored with the Paul Ecke Jr. Award for his leadership and horticulture contributions over the past 24 years. Five live bands kept the energy of the evening flowing, and renowned florist and Gala Artistic Director, René van Rems, led a team to exhibit floral displays of more than 10,000 stems to further dazzle.
